[Culver City, CA] — All Parents Welcome (APW), a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has officially launched with a bold mission: To reshape the modern parenting experience by building strong, inclusive communities that support all parents — regardless of how they arrived at parenthood. Through education, research, and community-building, APW is committed to advancing care equity, improving the mental health of parents, and ensuring that every parent feels seen, supported and celebrated.

In order to achieve its goal, APW aims to build tailored support systems for often underserved parenting communities — including, but not limited to: non-birthing parents (i.e. adoptive parents, LGBTQ+ parents, those who used surrogacy, and dads), blended families, single parents, and parents of children with disabilities.

First up, Fathers: APW’s first initiative is Dads Supporting Dads, uniting three leading fatherhood organizations, DILF (Dad I’d Like to… Friend), a top-ranking podcast, which reached #6 on Apple’s parenting charts last season, Fathering Together, an organization with over 130k members combined in their thriving Facebook communities such as Dads with Daughters and Dads with Sons, and City Dads Group, a local in-person meetups with thousands of engaged dads’ groups across the country. Together, these organizations form one of the largest and most engaged fatherhood networks in the country — offering meaningful connection, resources, and support to dads from all walks of life.

”Fatherhood comes with its own unique challenges, and while some minimal support exists, the knowledge and encouragement needed to become truly engaged, thriving co-parents is sorely lacking,” said Kevin Seldon, founder of All Parents Welcome. “I am thrilled for APW to build upon the incredible foundations laid by these pioneering fatherhood organizations in order to build a community with resources to better support dads, so they can better support their partners, their children, and themselves.”

Dads Supporting Dads launches with a WhatsApp-based community, which already includes 1,500 actively engaged dads across the U.S., and beyond. The network has grown rapidly to include more than 30 local groups, along with specialized communities for New Dads, Sober Dads, Dads of Kids with Disabilities, Divorced/Divorcing Dads, and Stay-at-Home Dads — with even more groups launching in response to evolving needs and interests.

Additionally, APW will be releasing Dads Supporting Dads first book: The DILF (Dad I’d Like To… Friend) Handbook: A New Dad’s Guide to Overcoming the Most Common Myths of Parenthood. Launching this fall, the handbook will provide honest insights, practical tools to thrive as an actively-engaged co-parent, and mental health support tailored to the unique experiences of modern fatherhood.

Launching Dads Supporting Dads is just the beginning, APW will continue with an ongoing expansion to strengthen support systems and expand resources for parents across multiple verticals, including original research studies in partnership with NYU that will explore the experiences and similarities between non-birthing parents.

“We believe that one of the best ways to raise well-balanced, kind and loving kids is to better support their parents,” added Seldon. “By uplifting<s> </s>often-overlooked parent communities, we’re laying the groundwork for a more inclusive parenting culture — one where every family, no matter how it’s built, has access to the tools, knowledge, and support they need to thrive.”

All Parents Welcome (APW) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reshaping the parenting experience by creating a conversation around parenthood that truly supports all parents — no matter how they arrived at their parenting journey. From adoption and surrogacy to single parenthood, blended families, LGBTQ+ parents, and parents of children with disabilities, APW is committed to advancing care equity and ensuring every parent feels seen, supported, and celebrated. The organization takes a three-pronged approach to building parenting verticals, focusing on support systems, resource hubs, and original content. Through education, research, and community-building, APW is working to build a more inclusive, compassionate, and empowering future for parents everywhere.

One of life’s greatest conundrums is how to avoid losing our own sense of self on this journey we call parenthood?

As parents, each of us, at some point or another, has felt utterly lost. So, how the heck do we get back to a place of joy while keeping up with the laundry list of life’s responsibilities?

Maybe the easiest path back is Re-Prioritizing SELF (or possibly, for many, prioritizing yourself for the first time in your life).

In this DILF Replay, DILF host Kevin Seldon shares his personal journey back to the center of his universe – a place EVERY parent deserves to tap into…

This episode launched DILF’s 2nd Season, which delves even deeper with a genuine dialogue about the true realities parents face in today’s hectic world — with the goal of eliminating much of the stigma and shame surrounding common mental health issues like anxiety and depression that affect parents around the globe.

It’s no secret that the world treats men and women very differently… and the same goes for moms and dads; however, truly comprehending what it’s like for the opposite sex is no easy task.

In this DILF Replay, Kevin welcomes Nick North — a trans man with the rare experience of living life as both dad and mom.

After giving birth to four children, Nick decided that he was tired of living a lie and began his journey transitioning to Dad.His journey is not only fascinating, but also an eye-opening lesson in the realities of gender bias that most of us face on a daily basis. So much more than a trans story, this is Nick North’s tale of bravery — an eye-opening interview that proves that the formula for being an amazing parent is simply living your truth while continuing to show up each and every day… with love.
